Privacy policy
Last updated 22 October 2026
In short
- We don’t collect, store or share any of your data.
- Your readings stay on your phone. We never see them.
- No account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
- Your data only leaves your phone when you choose to export or share it.
Who we are
My Blood Tracker is made by Wintek Solutions in the United Kingdom. If you have a question about this policy or your privacy, please contact us within the app.
What the app stores, and where
The app stores what you enter: your blood sugar readings and their times, reading types, meals, tags and notes, plus your settings (units, target ranges and reminders). All of it is kept in the app’s private storage on your phone.
We have no server and no database. Nothing you enter is sent to us or to anyone else, and the app works without an internet connection.
What we collect
Nothing. The app has no account or sign-in, no advertising, no analytics or crash reporting, and no tracking of any kind. It contains no third-party code that collects data.
When data leaves your phone
Only when you choose to send it:
- Export and backup. When you export a CSV or save a backup file, your phone’s share menu sends it wherever you pick: email, a cloud drive, a messaging app or your files. That service’s own privacy policy then applies. We never receive a copy.
- Import. When you import a backup or CSV file, the app reads only the file you choose, on your phone.
- Feedback email. If you use Send feedback, your email app opens with a message to us. It includes the app version and your phone’s operating system version so we can help, and you can delete those lines before sending. We use your email only to reply and delete it when the conversation is finished.
Permissions
The app asks to show notifications, and only when you turn on a reminder. Reminders are scheduled on your phone; no reminder data is sent anywhere. You can turn notifications off at any time in your phone’s settings.
Deleting your data
You can delete all your readings in the app under Settings → Delete data, or by uninstalling the app. Uninstalling removes everything the app stored on your phone. Files you exported or backed up yourself stay wherever you saved them, so delete those separately if you want to.
Keeping your data safe
Because your readings stay on your phone, they are protected by your phone’s own security. We recommend using a screen lock. Backup files are not encrypted, so keep them somewhere private.
Children
The app is intended for adults and is not aimed at children under 13.
This website
This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking, and loads nothing from other companies. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes basic technical information such as your IP address to deliver the pages and protect against attacks, as any web host does. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you and to have it corrected or deleted. Because we don’t collect data through the app, we normally hold none; the only exception is an email you send us. If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Not medical advice
My Blood Tracker is a diary for recording and viewing your own readings. It is not a medical device and does not give medical advice, a diagnosis, or treatment or dosing recommendations.
Changes to this policy
If we add a feature that changes how data is handled (for example, optional sync to your own Google Drive), we will update this policy before that feature is released and change the date at the top of this page.
